    The Supply Chain team is looking for motivated professionals to facilitate the distribution of our great products to customers and consumers. These personnel can analyze production metrics against market needs in Supply & Demand Planning, focus on product transportation through Logistics, or ensure the shelves of your local grocery store are stocked by Direct Store Delivery.


    The Logistics Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive reporting and statistical information to support Logistics functions and programs. This role develops complex analytical reports based on statistical data and provides information to the Logistics planning process based on knowledge and data. The Logistics Analyst also creates reports that effectively analyze performance trends and identify issues and opportunities for improvements.


    • Performs complex analyses pertaining to monitoring and coordinating statistical information that supports the logistics function.
    • Develops analytical reports based on logistical performance and provides information to the Logistics Management Team.
    • Performs analysis and creates reports of weekly and monthly KPIs and forecasts.
    • Provides analysis and interpretation of information regarding logistics cost components.
    • Maintains and updates carrier data base in TMS to insure proper costing of shipments and proper cost info to freight payment.
    • Participates in transportation alignment and tracking performance to awards and cost.
    • Handles carrier database maintenance and new carrier setups.
    • Audits transportation accessorial charges by carrier and customer.
    • Formulates and applies mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists Supply Chain Management and Executive Management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
    • Develops and supplies optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation.
    • Works daily to correct freight settlement documents to ensure the proper accruing of freight.
    • Works with business leaders in estimating distribution costs for new business opportunities-indirect/direct freight, DC Costs, etc.
    • Performs cost comparisons of distribution center shipments versus plant direct opportunities.
    • Clearly communicates to senior leaders (both internal and external), vendors and customers.

    • Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field and 2+ years' of experience in Transportation, Logistics or Customer Service; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
    • Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
    • Relevant work experience in a Shipping or Carrier Company is preferred.
    • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
    • Advanced knowledge and experience with Sequel Data Base is preferred.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Highly organized, detail-orientated, and excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to function in a highly dynamic, fast paced environment.
    • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
    • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
