    The Inventory Lead provides direction for Cycle Counters and assists the Inventory Control Manager with special projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Performs inventory adjustments, batch code corrections, and cycle count corrections
    • Releases products from quality hold, and responds to internal customer e-mails relating to inventory issues
    • Trains employees in inventory processes and provides inventory assistance to operations employees
    • Responsible for escalating any issues that arise during the shift, if necessary
    • Ensures that employees are working safely, and following all work rules
    • Ensures that inventory issues are being addressed by the department and that these issues are communicated to the Inventory Control Manager
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or general equivalency degree required.
    • One year of related experience is required. Previous lead or supervisory experience is highly desired.
    • Experience in a role managing multiple priorities is highly desirable.
    • Experience with warehouse management systems is required. Candidates must have strong computer skills.
    • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    • Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
    • Constantly required to stand, walk, ride, carry, bend, twist, balance, see, hear reach with hands and arms and handle paperwork.

    • The DC environment will include extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical equipment such as forklifts/hi-lifts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
    • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the loading areas.
