The Sr. Supply Planner manages perishable food inventories at Smithfield Foods meat manufacturing facilities, 3rd party manufacturing facilities and distribution centers to support sales activity. Where applicable; maintains capacity plans for the manufacturing facilities. Works with manufacturing facilities and/or suppliers in scheduling production to support sales activity at the least landed cost and achieves targeted fill rate, days on hand inventory and distress ratio to sales. The senior level planner works with highly complex product categories.
