    Performs the duties related to deduction clearing, credit/debit memos, claims and cash application.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

    1. Processes deductions according to established procedures; reviews, inputs and verifies the accuracy of information.
    2. Communicates account information to business customers and assists customers in resolving account errors.
    3. Works with the Sales/Management organization to ensure accurate deduction clearing.
    4. Researches payments, deductions and credits on customer accounts for accurate reporting.
    5. Investigates and resolves issues related to misapplied deductions, no backup, or invalid deductions.
    6. Researches unidentified deductions.
    7. Collaborates with other departments and areas of accounts receivable to maintain customer accounts.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1+ year of experience in deductions or accounts receivable or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
    • Previous experience with SAP, required.
    • Strong skill-set using Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Must be both an independent thinker and a team player.
    • Ability to problem solve.
