The Export Specialist is responsible for all aspects of all export orders. This position will interface with sample orders, customer service functions, traffic functions and shipping functions as needed.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

  1. Has responsibility of all export orders, from labeling, USDA inspection, until the customer takes ownership of the product.
  2. Responsible for all communications between department heads, production, Sales, Product Planners, shipping and transportation in regards to exports.
  3. Responsible for learning and understanding the export laws for the appropriate country and insuring that the appropriate laws are followed.
  4. Assists Customer Service in the shipping of samples, assists in traffic and shipping was needed.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a regionally accredited four-year college or university.
  • Experience in customer problem solving is very helpful.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience with ROC and Inter track, a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Has the ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment in an organized manner.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of communicating and expressing ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Bilingual, preferred.
