Overview

MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE SAFELY ALL ASPECTS OF THE GRINDER.  MUST BE ABLE TO READ AND WRITE.  MUST HAVE GOOD MATHEMATICAL SKILLS. MUST HAVE OR BE CAPABLE OF LEARNING COMPUTER SKILLS. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WELL WITH OTHER TEAM MEMBERS AND INDIVIDUALLY.

Responsibilities

A)MUST BE GRINDER CERTIFY

B) MUST BE FORKLIFT CERTIFY

C) MUST FOLLOW ISO 14001 PROCEDURES (AS APPLICABLE)

D) ENSURE THAT THE RECEVING TABLE IS ALWAYS FULL. START SHIFT WITH SHARP KNIVES AND PLATES.

E) KEEP FORMAX HOPERS FULL.

F) ACCURATELY BRING OUT THE CORRECT BATCH OF MEAT OUT OF THE COOLER (OLD MEAT FIRST AND CORRECT TYOE OF MEAT).

G) FOLLOW ALL SANITARY, HYGIENIC AND FOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES.

H) ASSIST WITH OTHER TEAM MEMBERS WHEN NEEDED.

I) SAFETY PROCEDURES MUST BE FOLLOWED: WEAR PROPER SAFETY EQUIPMENT AT ALL TIMES SUCH US: EARPLUGS/EARMUFFS, STEEL TOE SHOES. ETC.

J) OTHER DUTIES AS NEEDED.

 

Physical Demands

  • PUSH 60 POUNDS REWORK TRUCKS.
  • LIFT, CARRY, AND DUMP 24LB SPICE BAGS, IF NECESSARY.
  • SHOVEL MEAT INTO THE FORMAX FOR AN ENTIRE SHIFT.
