The International Documentation Coordinator is responsible for the execution of export documentations that are required for the company’s export shipments. Ensures that the documents meet export regulations and maintains compliance with the importing countries rules and customer requirements. Arranges the shipment of documents to the final customer and supports customers' inquiries when necessary.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

 

Export Documentation

  • Prepares defined export commercial and shipping documentation efficiently and accurately as set forth by the company and ensures that the documentation complies with the U.S. export requirements and the importing country and customer's requirements.
  • Ensures documents are legible for easy review and confirms that the information has clarity.
  • Reviews loading facilities information and extracts the pre-defined data to complete the export documents.
  • Provides documents to the customer for review and approval.
  • Revises documents as required.
  • Ships and tracks documents until they reach the final customer.

Shipping Instructions

  • Communicates shipping instructions to the various loading locations and the freight forwarder.

Departmental Support

  • Assists the international CSR Specialists and the International Logistics group with various duties and functions as time permits.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a regionally accredited four-year college or university.
  • 2+ years of International Documentation experience, preferred.
  • Strong data entry, reading and interpreting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret shipping documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of communicating and expressing ideas clearly and concisely.
