This position is responsible for supporting HRIS applications, initiatives, and projects as well as providing reports and analytics in support of Human Resources. This role will lead and support the design and functionality of the Smithfield Pension System (SPS) and related activities in collaboration with team members. This role will assist the Retirement Plans department with other analytical projects through researching, compiling, computing and analyzing data via a variety of external and internal resources. Serves as subject matter expert for SPS and provide system training for Defined Benefits team. This position may also supports SAP upgrades, patches, testing, implementations and integrations with other systems.
