    The Financial Reporting/Accounting team is seeking out driven, detail-oriented professionals to exercise GAAP principles while preserving the superior financial standing of our $15B company. These personnel examine data for consistency and accuracy, reconcile reporting documents to source data, complete mandatory government reporting, or scrutinize the company’s consolidated results through analytics and inquiries. 

     

    This position plays an integral role in analyzing business results and reporting key financial information via external and management reporting. This team questions performance and identifies threats and opportunities, acting as the analytical and accounting compliance engine of the Company to provide insights and support to management and ensuring adherence to reporting requirements.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Function as an analytics and reporting expert for the Finance function by developing standard reports and designing, running and maintaining ad hoc queries. 
    • Participate in the development of reports, metrics, models, scorecards, and dashboards by gathering data and transforming it into stories/insights that drive recommendations and decision-making. 
    • Publish Reports Weekly/Monthly accurately and on time
    • Build Reports and Dashboards in CXO (a financial reporting tool)
    • Hold Training sessions on how to use the various tools and reports created by the department
    • Generate load files for various systems, maintaining system accuracy
    • Communicate effectively with report stake holders to ensure strong understanding of the methodology behind all calculations
    • Perform ad hoc analysis using data from various systems and explain results of analysis to all levels of management
    • Demonstrate continuous efforts to improve processes, increase data integrity, and provide quality customer service to our divisions. 
    • Analyze key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
    • Support the Company’s financial reporting and analytical data requests, including weekly and monthly financial reporting as well as ad-hoc reporting and analysis. 
    • Design reports that present both actual and budget data in a concise manner for use by management in decision making.
    • Perform special requests and participate with projects/presentations, as needed

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years’ experience in reporting, consolidation and financial analysis; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • MBA or CPA, preferred.
    • Prior accounting/GAAP knowledge.
    • Experience in CPG industry is a plus.
    • Prior costing and Financial Modeling experience, preferred.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel & Access) and Analysis for Office.
    • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical.
    • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
