    The Fleet Operations Manager oversees the growth and execution for our fleet operations core goals and initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

    • Manage and oversee the operational functions for the private fleet
    • Assist in recruiting quality drivers for private fleet
    • Analyze and evaluate fleet operations networks for adjustments and cost savings opportunities
    • Manage, develop and enforce utilization, service and cost savings metrics for dedicated fleets
    • Organize and execute upon company savings initiatives
    • Develop and implement standard operational standards to maintain vehicles by advocating best practices in industry.
    • Understand financial impacts, develop KPI's and budget analysis for fleet operations

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university and 5+ years’ relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
    • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management, required.
    • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
    • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
    • Effective critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills.
    • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
    • Effective planning and organizational skills with demonstrated multi-tasking and project management skills.
    • Knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Suite: including, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation for the private fleet.
    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
